The Beckfield Lane project in York combines home-extension and loft-conversion design. The drawings explore the accommodation at ground and upper levels, while front and rear isometric studies explain the proposed building form.
The design studies show a rear kitchen extension with rooflights and a loft dormer, alongside the existing house form. The proposed layouts consider the kitchen/dining space, living accommodation, garage and upper accommodation together. The visual studies make the relationship between the extension and roof alterations easier to assess.

Rooflights and the loft dormer are visible in the three-dimensional design studies.
Ground and upper accommodation are considered as part of the same home-alteration proposal.
